Youth empowerment and development activist and founder of Leanne Lutterness (LLC), a prosperity consciousness company providing specialty services structured to cultivate human transformation within a diverse community.
An oratory gold medalist and former president of the National English Honor Society, she currently pursues a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Communications at the University of the Virgin Islands. Her passion for dance was nurtured as a member of the Golden Brigade Drill Team.
Being no stranger to pageantry, she has participated in many facets: as a coordinator, emcee and contestant. Her pageant history includes titles earned in various state, national and international pageants such as 2015 Miss Caribbean Houston (1st Runner Up), Miss Dominica Caribbean United States 2016 and Miss Legacy International 2017. Leanne has been featured on multiple media outlets; The World Class Beauty Queen Magazine, Dominica Broadcasting Radio Station, St. Croix Avis, St. Kitts and Nevis Observer, the Daily Herald Newspaper and WSTX Radio Station to name a few. Leanne’s developing entertainment career propelled her empowerment platform of FLY - ‘First.Love.Yourself’ - where she gained considerable fandom in the fine arts industry.
As an inspiring business communicator, she travels the world freelancing. Her volunteerism and community involvement is also well documented in her efforts at the Boys and Girls Club of the Virgin Islands, the International Festival, the Star of Hope Homeless Shelters, the Golden Key International Honor Society, the Caribbean American Heritage Foundation of Texas and various elementary schools within the region. Honoring her mission statement to create avenues for the creative arts on the island of Dominica, she launched a joint organization titled “Ooolala Promotions”. One of Leanne’s newest endeavors is Yoga. She has obtained certification as a Registered Yoga Instructor and currently teaches Tantric Dance on the island of St. Croix. She now serves as a Mentor with Project Promise Virgin Islands, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk youth by providing empowerment initiatives, cultural programs, and family services.
